This is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken. It was taken after a 6-mile hike up the mountains in New Zealand. I went there spring break of 2020, and we were afraid we weren't going to make it back into the country because of covid. This hike was very tough because it was a constant uphill, but the view was amazing. When I took this picture I did a panorama. With this type of picture, you can capture a whole scene in one photo. I love this picture because the path in front of me brings attention and gives it a little meaning. I just love the way this view was captured and the way that all the parts of the view were able to be seen; the mountains, towns, and water.

This is one of my favorite pictures because it is of my dog. Her name is Rue and she is almost 2 years old. She is a black lab, and she looks so sweet in this. I like this photo because it looks like her snout is very long because of the angle of the camera. I decided not to edit this photo. one thing I wish

This picture was take at a trout stream in Dubuque, IA. My family made a trip up there to go fishing and my sister was catching these crawdads. I love this picture because it has great detail and colors in it. I like that the main focus is the crawdad, but there are

was different about this photo is the quality, it is very grainy and I wish it was more clear.

background objects that are also visible. I like how the crawdad is opening its claws, looking like it is posing for the picture. It does not look like it, but this photo is so clear and focused, which makes it look better in my opinion.

This picture was taken in a small town in Iowa called Keosauqua. My uncle has land and a cabin down there, so we were able to visit last summer. This was a sunset that I was able to capture, and I love the colors in the picture. It is a great memory because we were having a campfire at the same time and I remember comparing the colors of the fire to the colors of the sky. I love to photograph sunsets because they fascinate me and are so pretty in my opinon. I love to catch a sunset when I have the opportunity to.

This picture was taken at a concert in the TaxSlayer Center. My mom, my sister, and I went to a concert the summer before COVID hit. It was super fun and I loved all the colors that were part of the set. When the music was playing, they occasionally had the light beams moving with the beat. I love to go to concerts and the environment of concerts. I cannot wait until they come back. The part I like best about this picture is the light beams that bring all the attention, but also the dark shadows of the crowd. This photo brings back a great memory that I will never forget.
