I love this picture because of the way the foreground and background are distinct and because of the natural sunset colors. I love taking photos of the sunset and of mountains. My favorite things to photograph are nature and landscape and this photo includes both, making it one of my favs. I made the colors a little more saturated while editing, making the picture even more beautiful and vibrant.

This is another one of my favorite pictures becuase of the color and the clarity. I like that her pink toungue pops out from her balck fur and the softness of the photo. I like to take pictures of my dogs and it makes them even bigger if it is in nature. For this editing, I used a filter in lightroom and I made the colors a little brighter. This made the photo more bubbly and fun.

I love this photo becuase of the view and all the different components in it. Additionally, it is another mountain range I was able to photograph. I love the way the path acts as a focal point, but does not totally distract from the beauty of the nature. As far as the editing goes, I made it a little brighter and gave a little more color vibrance.

More mountains haha, obviously there is a trend. The outdoors is my favorite setting to photograph because of its natural beauty. I love to bring out the colors a little more, and many of my pictures are taken after a long hike at the final destination. The work is worth the view in the end. The mountaisn were beauiful in this picture, as well as the blue/green water.

I love this photo of my dog becuase of I think it looks like she is almost posing for the picture. Again, a trend you will see in my artwork is outdoor pictures and outdoor lighting. This editing was similar to other edits I did, bringing the whites up and the vibrance and saturation up as well.

I think my most improved area when it comes to photography is the editing process. You can tell that I edited the photos, but it is not very obvius, which is why I liked to edit them that way. I also think that my clarity as my photos went on improved too. This was becuase I knew how to place subjects to make them compliment the photo, as well as took more time actually taking the picture. I think my favorite project this quarter was either the photo scavenger part 1 or the photo essay. The photo scavenger part 1 was a great way to get into the class and I loved how my pictures and my editing turned out. The photo essay was a fun time in nature with my dog and will be a great memory. The photos turned out great as well, and there is a clear central theme. I was not pleased with the turn out of my concentration. Previously, I thought I liked the color pop editing but now I realize that is it not my favorite way to edit and sometimes I think it looks a little tacky. I think there could have been a more interesting way to edit those photos. In the future, I will continue to photograph nature and my dogs for fun. I love that I can think about memories and be able to look back at those pictures for rememberance.
