Matt Umland is a wedding photographer. His love for traveling and photography has inspired him to become a traveling wedding/elopement photographer. Matt puts his subjects first and is willing to do anything so that they can have the wedding they wished for. As a photographer, he is not only focused on taking pictures, but he also loves to get to know his clients so that his work is the best it can be. Matt offers sessions with beginner photographers to help share his techniques and his love for photography.

I was unable to connect with Matt Umland and unfortunately could not get any more information. I went through his social media and found some pictures that I thought were very intriguing.

For this collection of pictures, we were to research and try to contact a local photographer that interested us. Then we were to find some of their pictures to get inspiration from and then take our own versions of those pictures. Unfortunately, I was unable to get in contact with Matt Umland, but from his website, I learned about his work and got to view many of his photos. He enjoys photographing weddings the most, but since I was unable to shoot a wedding, I looked to his social media for other inspiration pictures. I tried to edit my photos similar to how he edits them. In the picture of him holding his camera, I decided to use a coffee instead. If I were able to contact him, I think this project would have been a little more interesting.
