This assignment was a spring scavenger hunt. We were to take certain pictures of things that reminded us of spring. When I think of spring, flowers, plants, and the outdoors come to my mind. I love to spend time outdoors with my dogs, which is why I included pictures of her. The edits for these pictures were mostly using skills we learned in digital photography for a little review. I loved the hand color we did in photoshop because the yellow color of the leaves was really able to pop. I decided to crop the picture of the budding bush because I wanted to put more emphasis on the one bud. Also, changing the hue of the sunset brought attention to that single part of the picture which I thought was interesting. I think my favorite photo in this collection is the one of my dog laying on my deck. She loves to lay in the sun, and I think the colors in the picture are great. I tried to find an edit that brought out the pink in her tongue and the green in the grass behind her. To improve for my next collection, I am going to try to get more clear photos, that have a clear focus. Some of my pictures seem kind of rushed, and if the pictures are clearer, the edit will look nicer.
