The central idea of my concentration is natural color and contrast in nature. When I think of spring and the outdoors, I think of blooming flowers and the green grass. I love the spring time because of these colors which is why I chose this as my concentration. Sunsets are a great way to photograph contrast between the light sky, and the dark foreground, which is why I included a few sunset pictures from recent evenings. Throughout this collection, I really chose to progress with my phototaking and look more into what in nuature pops with color other than your average flower. Thus, I included a picture of yellow mushrooms and a beautiful monarch buttetfly. To tie my whole collection together, I decided to edit them all the same way. I chose to emphasize the color in the pictures since that is the mian focus of my concentration. To do that, I used color pop to enhace the colors, and took down the saturation of colors that I did not want to include. This editing brings out the color as the main focus of the picture. I tried to prgress as a photographer focusing in on the subject and trying to use the grid to place it in an interesting spot. I think that the later pictures are higher quality and more intriguing. I am happy with how my collection turned out because I think they all look very unified and the pictures so true color of nature.
