For this assignment, we were to take pictures of each of the given themes, and edit them however we wanted. For all of the editing, I used Adobe Lightroom, because I think it gives great variety on how the pictures can be edited. I think my favorite picture in this collection is either the picture of tranquility or the picture that represents my morning. For me, the mornings are very relaxing, and I love to wake up to the sun shining in my room. Many people do not like to sleep with their shades open, but I do because that way the sun wakes me up and I can immediately look outside. The tranquility picture was taken in New Zealand, and when I look at the picture I think of beauty and calmness. I loved the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks, and the valleys that surrounded it. For some of the pictures, I was stuck with what to photograph, but there were times where I would think of ideas. I was making eggs one morning and thought of the broken theme because of the cracked eggshell. I liked the tree picture because I like that most of the space is taken up by the trunk, but there are also branches that are shown as well. I also tried to emphasize my dog's nose in the whiskers picture because it brings attention to the whiskers.
